Pastor Gretchen has been serving congregations across the country since 2002. She’s a dynamic preacher, excellent musician, and lover of God in nature. Gretchen has served congregations in Madison, WI, Renton, WA, and Seattle, WA prior to returning to the midwest in 2023 to be closer to family. Serving the Williams County Parish is a great new experience and is filled with joy!    

Jean serves as a minister of word and service for the Williams County Parish, and specializes in facilitating adult spiritual formation. She has an active spiritual direction practice including leading group spiritual direction. Her ministry also includes an ecumenical group called the Carpenter’s House that creates opportunities for spiritual growth in her rural northwest Ohio community. She is a frequent speaker for gatherings and retreats in northwest Ohio.

She lives in Edon, Ohio with her husband enjoying their empty nest as their three adult children have flown the coop. Jean loves books so much her hubby thinks she has too many. Jean believes if you cannot be well read, at least be well bought! Bring on more bookshelves!
